Position Overview: 

The Regional Manager will be in charge of multiple clinics throughout a large physical area. This role carries out supervisory responsibilities pertaining to the operational practices of all the clinics in their assigned area, making sure each runs smoothly, cleanly, safely, complies with marketing and sales campaigns and meets budget and sales goals.   

Location:
The ideal candidate will be located in New York or greater Washington DC areas. Frequent travel will be required. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

General Responsibilities -

  • Provide leadership and development for Clinic Manager, Assistant Clinic Manager and all other clinic staff in assigned region 

  • Execute on meeting and exceeding all region/clinic metrics; Contribution Margin, revenue growth, NPS, New Clients, etc. 

  • Maintain the SkinSpirit vision, mission and standards with all staff 

  • Motivate staff to perform at their highest abilities 

Operations/ Processes  -

  • Maintain existing processes to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations for both clients and clinic staff in assigned region 

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all clinic services, products, equipment and job functions 

  • Maintain the clinic visual aesthetic standards and operational protocols as required by the Director, Clinic Operations 

  • Maintain phone and consultation standards and processes to ensure we are consistent among clinics and staff, and we are exceeding client expectations 

  • Maintain complete knowledge of hours of operation and activities of SkinSpirit clinics 

  • Create downtime activities and monitoring system for clinic operations staff in assigned region to ensure staff is focused and staying productive 

  • Fill in for Clinic Manager in assigned region when needed 

Financial/ Budget -

  • Work with Director, Clinic Operations and Finance to manage clinic budgets 

  • Accountability for actual monthly clinic metrics to budget 

  • Work with Director, Clinic Operations to track clinic top/bottom treatments and products; overall revenue, expenses and profitability trends 

  • Utilize staff productivity reports to communicate with Director, Clinic Operations and to measure staff performance 

  • Monitor in-house marketing/event related spending for clinics in assigned region. 

Administration -

  • Oversee staff schedules and schedule changes consistent with optimized coverage requirements in assigned region 

  • Oversee the maintenance of the software database with current codes, prices, staff, etc. in assigned region 

Equipment/ Products -

  • Oversee the scheduling of maintenance and repairs in assigned region. 

  • Oversee maintenance logs in assigned region. 

Meetings/Trainings -

  • Conduct regular clinic operations meetings and ongoing trainings in assigned region 

  • Attend other clinics’ staff meetings and trainings, as required 

  • Participate in weekly management meetings/calls 
  • Conduct 1:1 monthly site meetings to address performance issues and hear concerns 

Human Resources -

  • Recruit, schedule and interview prospective clinic staff employees in assigned region 

  • Partner with HR Director to complete reference, licensure and background checks 

  • Partner with HR Director to conduct exit interviews and process terminations 

  • Resolve day-to-day staff conflict 

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports 

  • Oversee the training of new clinic staff in assigned region 

  • Partner with Director, Clinic Operations and HR Director to deliver disciplinary action and termination for direct reports 

Safety/ Regulatory 

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed 

  • Oversee safety/regulatory log books/manuals 

  • Oversee compliance metrics, P&P, state and federal regulations 

Events 

  • Participate in SkinSpirit events 

  • Assist in event planning with the Marketing team 

Future Planning 

  • Assist Director, Clinic Operations with concepts and ideas to keep SkinSpirit ahead of its competition and on the cutting edge of the aesthetic industry in assigned region 

  • Assist in the development and opening of future markets and clinics in assigned region 

  • Assist in determining and structuring of future staffing needs in assigned region

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in retail management or equivalent field; multi-unit leader experience preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, internal customers, and external customers 

  • Ability to coach and teach 

  • Ability to build and sustain trusting professional relationships 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 

  • High degree of discernment and confidentiality 

  • Proficient with email and MS Office 

  • Willing to travel to assigned locations 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear 
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to 30 pounds 

Compensation: $140,000 starting; Pay will be determined based on candidate experience, region size, location, market, etc.
